4-H Solar Eclipse Camp Gives Youth Front Row Seat
In the path of the solar eclipse was the West Ky 4-H Camp in Dawson Springs, about 30 minutes from Hopkinsville, the epicenter of the eclipse. A solar eclipse camp was held over the weekend culminating with the eclipse. The camp attracted about 125 people from all over Kentucky, and outside the Commonwealth, to see a phenonmenon rarely seen in one's lifetime.
