UK students help peers experience Thanksgiving (video)

LEXINGTON, Ky.—

Service learning is part of the curriculum for UK Hospitality Management and Tourism students. In the Event Planning and Coordination class, students initiate a service learning project and do all the preparation and planning. Students work in groups in the class, and the focus for one group, was to plan a Thanksgiving meal for UK's international students, so they could get a taste of a uniquely American holiday.
